We in Punchline are delightfully pleased to announce that the name of our new album is, in fact, Delightfully Pleased. The album consists of 11 songs and it is our best album yet. This is not a matter of opinion either, its absolute fact. When it comes to music, we only state the facts.
Want to hear a song? Well, we will personally email you a track right now if you order a copy of Spontaneo’s record For Those Who Can Whistle by clicking here. Others will have to wait patiently until we post the song somewhere on the Internet. The song is called “21 Forever” and just might be your Summer jam!
Delightfully Pleased will be released on August 10th via our own record label, Modern Short Stories (www.modernshortstories.net), and in conjunction with the amazing TDR Records (www.tdrrecords.net). Here is a preview of the album cover! Check back soon for more art and a track listing.

Listen to Spontaneo’s “A Map And A Car.” This is the title track from their new album For Those Who Can Whistle. This song is about singer Diego Byrnes recently reuniting with his biological father on a magical trip to South America.

Modern Short Stories
Isn’t this a beautiful blog? Aren’t those a fine group of gentlemen above? 2010 holds plenty of exciting things for Modern Short Stories including the release of Spontaneo’s For Those Who Can Whistle, which comes out on June 29th! It will be available for pre-order this week. We will soon be posting the track listing along with more information on the new Punchline record!
We’re also working on a Modern Short Stories sampler called Keep It Real and releasing a record for yet another artist in the Fall.
