The album cover of @punchlion’s “So Nice To Meet You” EP, available this Tuesday on iTunes!
We are releasing a couple of the freshest jams from FARRADAY (@heyfarraday), a Chicago band that we’ve had our eye on for some time. Their style is significantly different from anything we’ve done and that is a GREAT thing, especially because it shows that we’re doing what WE want to do. This isn’t about you. Well ok, it’s about you, too.
Please be a babe or a deer and let us know what you and your tumblies think of it… or your tweeters, or your bookies. I made up most of those words just now.
Reblog this and let me know your email address and I’ll send you a treat. People like treats.
Your good buddy,
Steve Soboslai

So… Yeah, like today is my birthday. I felt inspired to write down my birthday wishes in the hopes that they come true, completing the ultimate goal of a Christmas miracle. Here are my birthday wishes!
1) Consider pre-ordering a copy of Barely Blind’s new album on vinyl, which you can download digitally for free here. Order here.
2) Enjoy this picture of a pig wearing boots.
3) Commit a random act of kindness, blindness, or blindmeloness.
4) Pass around this @blueofcolors song via Spotify, Soundcloud, or iTunes.
5) And finally, enjoy these videos that my good buddy @chrisfafalios made for me in the past! Thank you, Chris. You have given me the gift of bass, friendship, and a history of great and thoughtful presents.
Happy Halloween!

If Frank likes it, you know it’s good. @nightbeast is on iTunes and Spotify. http://tinyurl.com/3fsxag3 #30rock
Don’t have anything to do tonight? Why not come check out Spontaneo at Lava Lounge. The show starts at 10 and is only $5. That’s cheaper than a buffalo chicken sub at Subway!
The Nightbeast has decided to give away a copy of his newest record, an awesome limited edition t-shirt, and even a personalized prize pick out for you by The Nightbeast himself. All you have to do is get all your friends, your friends friends, and your friends friends friends to go like his Facebook page and post “You’re Welcome from (your name)” on his wall. The contest will run for the next two weeks!
Good luck!
This is the most ridiculous tattoo I’ve ever seen. Thank you @nightbeast for your bodily jokes.
His album “You’re Welcome” is on iTunes for $6.93! Click here!
A great but incredibly sad song about losing someone by @hellospontaneo.
This song just came up on shuffle. Probably my favorite on the record. Hit me pretty hard when we were in the studio recording it. There were truly some very powerful moments.
@hellospontaneo’s “For Those Who Can Whistle” CD on sale for $6.99.
New release… It’s only a dollar! www.brightandearlymusic.com
This is our first attempt at releasing an iTunes single and it happened on a whim… I was on the phone with J.B., who is the singer of Bright and Early one night not so long ago. We were discussing the idea of MSS releasing vinyl for them. I told him that it could take a while to get a project like that underway, which led to a discussion on how often it occurs in (music industry) nature where two parties agree to work together, and then one party flakes out. It’s very frustrating! I can’t tell you how many people I wish would call me back or email me right now. (Ha, at the same time, I apologize if I owe anyone a phone call. I know there’s a guest vocal I’ve been putting off tracking for no reason - I’m going to do that today!) Listening to JB talk about the same things gave me the idea right there - let’s take on a project that focuses on something that we can turnaround fast… kind of a slap in the face to projects that drag on. Less than ten days later, they were in the studio recording in Lancaster with our very good buddy Kory Gable. Actually, I’m gonna leave this off there for another blog…
We believe in this band so much and are flattered to say we had something to do with this song. They’ve got style, they’ve got soul, they’ve got a lot on their minds…
Please, please give this song (and peace) a chance.
